25/11/20: Q&A with Leanne Betasamosake Simpson
Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, the highly acclaimed Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg scholar, poet, musician, and activist visionary, has agreed to meet with our School on Wednesday November 25th at 3-4pm. The event will be structured as a Q&A discussion rather than a talk.
In preparation of this event, GOSSIP will be hosting a session on Simpson’s work on November 18th at 3pm. In advance of this GOSSIP session, we suggest reading the Introduction, Chapter 8, and Chapter 9 from Simpson’s book, As We Have Always Done: Indigenous freedom through radical resistance (available electronically in the library).
