20/09/19: Launch of Ecovillage Transition in Action in Brussels

Friday 20 September 2019

Aligning with the global energy today as we launch Ecovillage Transition in Action in Brussels.

This project will provide open and innovative education and materials designed to support educators and adult learners develop key competencies in cross-sectoral partnership building, community building, participatory design and collaboration between local authorities, communities and citizens in primarily rural areas.

This is in response to seeing engaged rural communities working for positive change who feel unsupported by local government as well as municipalities with positive goals and a determination to act, who struggle to build genuinely collaborative relationships with local citizens and initiatives.

Today, with partners, ECOLISE, St. Andrews University, Hurdal Økolandsby, and GEN Deutschland, we co-create our focus to contribute to solutions.
